SELF IMPROVEMENT A
NECESSITY FOR A
CONTINUED SUCCESS (PART 2)
Yesterday
we looked at four initial qualities that are critical for our self improvement
that we need to have when we are thinking of a continuous and enduring success.
Those were; belief, courage, action and commitment. All of them very necessary
to say the least.
Today,
at part two of the same subject, we want to look at additional qualities that
will also go a long way in making continued success a reality.
- INTEGRITY
This is that quality
that we exhibit that makes others to trust in us. When you are honest it is
very easy to succeed as people will believe in you. Integrity is such an
important trait not only because of others but it defines who you truly are
even to yourself. You are at home with yourself, clear conscious nothing
accusing you. When you are honest, have good morals, mean your word then you
are able to trust yourself going forward. Your integrity and good
character will shine through and help establish healthy relationships and a
good reputation that precedes you and opens doors of opportunity and success
for you.
- PATIENCE
Every
great journey has obstacles on its pathway. You will make mistakes, you will
run short of resources, projects will take longer than you had anticipated and
if you don’t have this quality the journey to having a continuous success will
get really hard or worse still you’ll abandon the whole cause. Patience will
help you keep the cause when you are not seeing desired results as yet and deal
with yourself much kinder when you make mistakes other than letting
frustrations come in and spoil your
dreams.
- OPTIMISM
Being
able to expect positive outcomes and believing your efforts, good and desirable
results will come out of it which is very important. It becomes that fuel you
run on and keeps you excited doing what you are doing. Coupled with gratitude
with which they go hand in hand they are an irresistible force to success.
- SACRIFICE
This
may be the last one in our subject here but not the least important. Sacrifice
to success is key. It is that extra we put in to see our dreams comes true.
This may mean you forego some of your leisure activities like travelling temporarily
to spend that time attending to your goals, it may mean some of your finances
are directed towards your dream from areas that were comfort oriented before or
even physical relocation if it will need that.
Those elements are very essential and effective in one's life. Determination abilities also matters
